Hi,
I'm Courtney, a Design Intern here at Proverb. I am a rising Junior at Boston University majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Event Management and Art History. I recently returned from studying abroad in Venice, and will be interning with Proverb until late August. Proverb is an exciting environment to work in because they focus on the research of a brand, as well as the design, which I feel is an important part of making a brand successful. I am looking forward to living and working in Boston this summer. The city is such an inspirational place to be, especially as I further my explorations into the constantly changing world of design.

What does a brand mean to you?
A brand is a cohesive identity used to represent what a company is all about - it's expressive.
What's your favorite truth quote?

What is your favorite song?
It changes daily, but right now I am obsessed with the new Train CD.
What do you do outside of Proverb?
I like running, kickboxing, making jewelry and spending time with friends.
What is one thing you want to do before you die?
I need to go back to Europe and live there for a year or two. I want to experience as much as I can, and really explore all the world has to offer.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
In five years, I could see myself living in New York working for a design agency, maybe getting some experience planning events. There's still a lot to do and figure out in the next couple years - I just want to be happy wherever I end up.
