As we mentioned in posts before, we wanted to start answering questions submitted by you regarding design, communication and everything in between. One of the questions we thought was worth mentioning was:
"What are some things that I should look for when monitoring my social media platform?"
Monitoring your social media can be just as broad and time-consuming as it to post content. When monitoring and analyzing your engagements, you should make sure you have you overall social media goals in mind. Some things you should look for include:
- The name of you or your organization
- The names/usernames of your staff
- Mentions of your product/service
- Domain names and URLs that you use
- The industry in which you are competing
Make sure that you tailor your 'watch list' so it is specific to your business and your business objectives. Don't be afraid to ask for feedback or insights from your findings. And don't stop there. The most important part of monitoring your content and followings comes after the discovery, you must act on your findings.
